Describing their site as "A DAILY REVIEW OF WORLD NEWS ON MAVERICK SCIENCE, UNEXPLAINED MYSTERIES, UNORTHODOX THEORIES, STRANGE TALENTS, AND UNEXPECTED DISCOVERIES," they provide books and articles postulating theories about various phenomena including UFO's, ESP, the afterlife, and other controversial scientific postulations. Whether you are a believer or just curious, you're sure to find something to make even the most hardened skeptic wonder if there isn't more to our universe than just those things that standard science accepts. The site is well constructed. You will enjoy spending time browsing their myriad of entries.
If you have reason to communicate with the staff of the Anomalist, you will find that you are dealing with professional, courteous people. This is always a commendable trait. I have been searching for magazines and e-zines where I could either have my book featured or advertise it, and they were the only ones that replied to me promptly, if at all. This, however, is not why I give the site itself a rave review. Whether or not I had occasion to contact the staff of the Anomalist, the site is still an excellent one. If you are the sort of person who enjoys thinking outside the narrow confies of accepted scientific theory, you will enjoy what The Anomalist has to offer.
